it's a baby girl...

and we are tickled pink! we love her so much already. i just want to hold her and kiss her and smell her (don't babies smell so good?) and talk to her and just stare at her. babies are so perfect. Only 4 more months to go!

It's official...and scary...and exciting...and overwhelming......and wonderful.

Matt & I are having a baby in November!!

And we saw it for the first time today, and it was so amazing.

Nothing compares to seeing your little baby squirming around in your tummy. Can't Wait!

MORE MAIZIE!

We bought Maizie a kiddie pool yesterday. But we can't tell if she likes it or not. She'll get in it but will spend 30 minutes straight trying to dig a hole in the bottom! Here is the evidence:

trip to the zoo!

Matt and I took a field trip to the Phoenix Zoo last Saturday. It was really hot!! But it was a fun little excursion. I don't recommend going anywhere outdoors during the Arizona summer. I don't know if I'm going to survive!

Weekend in Las Vegas

I should rename this blog "The Travels of Ruthie & Eric... With Their Tag-alongs Matt & Mindy"...

This little get away was quite fun. We ate and ate and ate. I think we went to a buffet every single night! There was also a little gambling involved, jet skiing, shopping, pool lounging... and The Bodies Exhibition (very interesting, but a little creepy). On our drive home we stopped for a minute at the Hoover Dam.

Introducing Miss Maizie Moo Moo

This is Maizie - my mother in law's baby. We are the bestest of friends. She's the cutest little thing ever. She looks like a little black lamb. I love her... and we have the same birthday :)
